MandiKhata is a digital ledger ("bahi-khata") for mandi commission agents
(arhatiyas) to record lots, sales, payments, advances and commission, on Android
phones and on Windows computers. This policy explains what we collect and how we
use it.
Information we collect
- Your Google account's name and email address — you sign in
with Google; we use them to identify your account on every phone and computer.
We never see your Google password.
- Your phone number, name and business details you enter
(business name, mandi, state, GSTIN, APMC licence, UPI handle).
- Ledger data you create — farmers, traders, lots, sales,
payments, advances, commission and other deductions, day-close records and
the staff (Munim/Helper) you invite.
- Photos of a lot that you choose to take, kept with that lot.
- Plan purchases — when you buy a plan in the Android app,
Google Play tells us the subscription's status. Payment details stay with
Google; we never receive card or bank details.
- App usage statistics from the Android app installed from
Google Play (Google Analytics for Firebase): which screens and features are used, without
the names, amounts or other contents of your khata. The Windows app sends none.
- Basic device/technical data needed to sync your data and keep
the service working.
We do not collect bank passwords, card numbers, your
contacts or your location.
How we use your information
- To provide the ledger and keep it in sync across your phones and computers.
- To generate pattis, reports and GST exports you ask for.
- To let staff you invite access what you permit.
- To know whether your shop's plan is active.
- To provide customer support, fix problems and keep the app secure.
Storage & security
Your data is stored on your devices and on our servers in India so it can sync
and be restored if you change phones. Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Only you
and the staff you invite can see your business data.
Sharing
We do not sell your data and do not show ads. We use trusted service providers
only to run the app: Google (sign-in, Google Play billing and Firebase analytics)
and our server host. When you share a patti or report over WhatsApp,
that action is initiated by you.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account
and all associated business data at any time from
Settings → Delete account in the app, or by writing to us.

Children
MandiKhata is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed at
children under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page
with a new "last updated" date.
